I was the first in my family to go to college, land a corporate job, and earn six figures. I was also the first to realize that none of that automatically teaches you how to manage money or build wealth.
I spent the last decade navigating the corporate world — climbing the ladder, code-switching, and figuring out the unwritten rules that nobody tells first-generation professionals. And through all of it, I was also quietly trying to figure out money on my own.
At one point, I was making $120K a year while drowning in credit card debt and living paycheck to paycheck. I paid off the same $18K in credit card debt three different times. Every time I cleared it, I felt proud for a while… until I found myself right back in the same cycle.
Eventually, I got tired of the hamster wheel and got serious. I paid off my credit card debt, paid off my car two years early, and started building wealth I could eventually pass on to my son.
I'm a certified coach and a first-generation corporate woman who had to figure out wealth from scratch. Now I help women like me finally close the gap between their income and their wealth.
